How It All Started

CollabCRM was born from the need to simplify operations and foster seamless collaboration for service-based IT companies during challenging times. From its inception, the platform has evolved into an all-in-one solution, helping businesses manage projects, teams, and clients more efficiently

2020: The Beginning

In 2020, like many service-based IT companies, we were operating at full capacity, handling multiple projects across different time zones, juggling various tools, managing teams, and making it all work.

Then the world changed.

When COVID-19 forced the global shift to remote work, our seamless processes started breaking down. Collaboration, something we thought we had mastered, suddenly became fragmented. Tools multiplied. Productivity dropped. Communication lagged.

And in that moment of friction, we realized something deeper: we weren’t the only ones struggling.

Thousands of mid-sized IT companies

So we asked ourselves:

What if we stopped patching the problem with more tools and built the right one?

We didn’t start with code. We started with questions.

We spent a year understanding the real operational gaps within IT workflows, where time is lost, where money leaks, and where collaboration breaks.

We weren’t building a generic CRM. We were building a system to reflect the reality of how IT teams actually work. It had to be lean. Integrated. Clear. Efficient.

It had to make collaboration feel effortless, not like another job.

And so, CollabCRM was born.
